Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, along with Minister for Information Technology and Industries Sridhar Babu Duddilla and their team, recently visited Apple’s headquarters in Cupertino, California. Arriving on Friday, they met with senior Apple executives from the manufacturing, public policy, and healthcare divisions.
Revanth Reddy expressed enthusiasm about the visit, noting that Apple Park’s expansive 175-acre campus was an ideal setting to advocate for Hyderabad and Telangana as top investment destinations. In a post on X, he highlighted the various initiatives discussed, including the new Electronics Park, Skills University, AI City, and Future City. “Exhilarating to visit Apple Park, the corporate headquarters of Apple Inc., at Cupertino, California. The 175-acre campus was the ideal place to make a strong pitch for #Hyderabad and #Telangana as leading investment destinations in several sectors,” Reddy said. He further expressed confidence that the productive discussions would yield positive results for the state.
Earlier, the delegation was warmly welcomed by K. Srikar Reddy, Consul General of India in San Francisco, upon their arrival at San Jose Airport on Thursday. The Chief Minister’s Office shared on X, “Chief Minister Sri @revanth_anumula, Minister for IT & Industries Sri @OffDSB, and their team received a warm welcome to California. They are excited about the potential partnerships and opportunities for #Hyderabad and #Telangana during their upcoming meetings with leading companies in Silicon Valley.”
Before California, Revanth Reddy and his delegation had visited New York, New Jersey, Washington, DC, Dallas, and Texas. The Telangana CMO posted on X, “Having completed successful visits to New York, New Jersey, Washington DC, Dallas, and Texas, Chief Minister Sri @revanth_anumula and his team are now focusing on California. After engaging with top CEOs on the West Coast, the delegation will shift their focus from technology to urban development and Hyderabad 4.0 in South Korea in the coming days.”
